It has been a while since I posted anything so I thought I should.
If you are wondering why I am using Lucida instead of the normal Verdana, and that I am speaking like this, that is just to fit the current topic I am going to post about today ^^
I got caught up with Vampire Knight anime recently. I have been reading the manga up to the latest volume so while waiting I thought I should give the anime a try and grade it.
I watched the first 3 episodes so far. Not bad. I must say the atmosphere is there. At least they are attempting to apply the shoujo-ish style the manga is brimming with.
Alright, so some of you lurkers may not know what is Vampire Knight about. It is about a campus, Cross Academy, with separate day and night lessons. The day class students are human beings, the night class students are vampire aristocrats, except of course, they appear to look like normal humans. Gorgeous ones, at that. Only the chairman and the campus guardians know about the secret of the night class. The campus guardians are your main characters, Yuki Cross and Zero Kiriyu, who are the chairman's adopted children. Besides attending normal lessons in the day time, the guardians have to control the flow of students in the evening, as the (gorgeous) night class students are often chased after by the rabid fangirls of the day class. And also, ensure peace within the campus - that humans and vampires can coexist in harmony.
That's about all the introduction I can give. Go read for yourselves.
I was hmm... intoxicated by the ending song, "Still Doll". It is a slow, quiet, twinkling song with few words. The more I listen, the more I get addicted. I like mysterious songs and this song has its good share of mystery and suspense. I love it.

And from my "Still Doll" intoxication, I had the sudden urge to paint something along the title. Thus, I came up with this.
It was painted on Tegaki with a tablet, in about 3 or 4 hours. Here or here for bigger resolution.
Not my creepiest potential, though. I wish to paint another when there is time.

Aww come on you should be expecting this already. It's impossible for me not to post about the cosplay events I attended ;3 So here ya go!
CF Day 1 5th July - cosplayed Shiraume from Air Gear (sleeping forest ver.)
CF Day 2 6th July - cosplayed Rena from Higurashi (dress ver.)
First of all, meet Ume's chibi gorgon doll.
I slaved over her @_@
Took me about a week to do her arms and legs on and off. Then did the rest over a period of TEN hours STRAIGHT right before CF day 1. *faints*
I didn't even have the time and energy left to sew her clothes so I kinda made (forced) Parfait-chan my dear Usamomo to lend her that pink dress.
Now I know how important it is to prepare early.
Sorry Parfait :( at least you still got your inner clothes on. And I'm letting you wear my Ume eyepatch which I made myself too.

I think I'm gonna name that chibi gorgon doll uhh... Hebi-ke (snake hair)? or maybe Sunako (snake is pronounced su-ne-ku and then she kinda resembles a sadako anyway so yeah)?

Day 1

We had a costrain for both days, where cosplayers run around the place in a line. I joined in for a bit, but got tired after some time :(
I found out it was a bad idea cause you get tired and sweaty, and you bump into people many times. I think some even knocked off people's dolfies and stuff D:
So I guess costrains are a no-no from next year onwards u.u
We also had a mass caramelldansen on stage on Day 2 :D
After that Broken went to lead us to dance gay bar, caramelltaichi, saikyou pare parade, hare hare yukai, nyan nyan, etc. on the floor when the hall was emptying XD
We stayed around till quite late. Me, Broken, Haruto, Tim, Karei and Alucard went to eat dinner at the foodcourt there. Finoa and Shogun joined us afterwards. We were the last ones to leave the foodcourt XD
Then we went to the front of the big tent again to try dancing some songs at 1.5x and 2x the speed. We tried pink generation, saikyou pare parade, motteke serafuku, danjo, etc. Broken and Shogun are really good at them XD Shogun is seriously a human machine >.> it's like he never gets tired.
I shall learn to dance danjo as well so I can dance it next CF XD
It'll be the appropriate timing as I'm doing male characters =w= hurhur.
That's all for Cosfest 08 report :3 I have nothing more interesting to share.
Regarding to who I'm cosplaying for next year CF, that won't be answered till the time is right =w= hurhur.

It's about time I post something about it ._. considering it's been... MORE THAN 2 WEEKS AGO.
My EOY KHR team (that's Katekyo Hitman Reborn to you), planned an outing at ECP :3 I made my own way and took such a long time to find them. I WALKED PAST THEM AND NONE REALISED IT WAS EACH OTHER OTL.
Beffy, Ria, Daikon, Kurokoneko, Garyuu, Snowi, and one more guy whom i forgot turned up :D
We played Snap for a few hours using about 5 or 6 decks. THEY USED ANIME DECKS ON PURPOSE TO DISTRACT US LOLOL. I was distracted for at least a second everytime a Hibari or hyper dying will Tsuna shows up on one of the cards XD we blasted anime/Jpop/Jrock music as well.
And many of us didn't trim our nails so a few of us got hurt everytime we snapped :)
And then we ate a lot but couldn't finish the food cause we brought too much ._. we got homemade sandwiches, potato chips, konyaku, a chocolate cake...
Then we went to the sand and began doodling. These are what I doodled...
I think I drew a *pineapple* + *tuna* = *heart* as well but didnt take a picture of it XD

After that we played Heart Attack. Some of us planned to stay to watch the sunset but all ended up going home at the same time anyway LOL.
It was fun gaiz! :D I hope more people can turn up in the next outing.
