It has been a while since I posted anything so I thought I should.

If you are wondering why I am using Lucida instead of the normal Verdana, and that I am speaking like this, that is just to fit the current topic I am going to post about today ^^

I got caught up with Vampire Knight anime recently. I have been reading the manga up to the latest volume so while waiting I thought I should give the anime a try and grade it.
I watched the first 3 episodes so far. Not bad. I must say the atmosphere is there. At least they are attempting to apply the shoujo-ish style the manga is brimming with.

Alright, so some of you lurkers may not know what is Vampire Knight about. It is about a campus, Cross Academy, with separate day and night lessons. The day class students are human beings, the night class students are vampire aristocrats, except of course, they appear to look like normal humans. Gorgeous ones, at that. Only the chairman and the campus guardians know about the secret of the night class. The campus guardians are your main characters, Yuki Cross and Zero Kiriyu, who are the chairman's adopted children. Besides attending normal lessons in the day time, the guardians have to control the flow of students in the evening, as the (gorgeous) night class students are often chased after by the rabid fangirls of the day class. And also, ensure peace within the campus - that humans and vampires can coexist in harmony.

I was hmm... intoxicated by the ending song, "Still Doll". It is a slow, quiet, twinkling song with few words. The more I listen, the more I get addicted. I like mysterious songs and this song has its good share of mystery and suspense. I love it.

And from my "Still Doll" intoxication, I had the sudden urge to paint something along the title. Thus, I came up with this.



It was painted on Tegaki with a tablet, in about 3 or 4 hours. Here or here for bigger resolution.
Not my creepiest potential, though. I wish to paint another when there is time.
