gahhhhhh sick

Because I haven't posted for SO long, I thought it'd be best I wrap everything that's happened for the last few weeks nicely first before I move on with life ._.

=ONE=

O's has ended. Yup. Feels like eons ago too.

Not much to talk about it... hmm... just waiting for results right now =\
I seriously have no idea how I will fare DX

=TWO=

Graduation night was the night right after the last paper.

I went in my black and red lolita, while carrying this bunch of artificial roses around. Got ready in Phaik's house. She went in her purple and black lolita.

I looked sommeeething like this.

I drew that btw.

Had an 8 course dinner with little games and performances and presentations in between.

It was okay. Except one thing that kept bothering me was that we're in the school hall.

Moving on~

Went to Penang some time back.



Stayed in a suite room in a... I dunno, 4 star? Or was it 5...

It was quite big...

The hotel's name is.. g hotel. Not even a capital G >.>
I have no idea why anyone would name a hotel "g".

I sleep at the sofa here. Got a tv and a drawing desk all to myself /o/ ~


Next room...


...is where my parents sleep. They got a tv all to themselves too.
The bed's really huge and reeaaaally soft but I just refused to sleep with them lol. cause I want a tv all to myself and no one nagging me to sleep.


I had a wtf moment at this. The wall between the bedroom and the bathroom is TRANSPARENT. Look, you can even see my reflection in the bathroom mirror. I guess it's so that people can still watch tv even when in the bathtub. No wonder the room is only meant for two people...

The other section of the bathroom. Hell, they even got TWO toilets. No more fighting. They even wrapped the towels in a pretty orange ribbon.

Those little black marks are butterflies. The whole place's chock full of them it gets kinda scary to walk.

...it's a hoard of scorpions oh my god. They're that pile of black stuff huddling together to escape light. AHH.

Zomg it's a really huge turtle @A@ its head is even wider than my hand omg.


I think those are called snap turtles. The ones who keep still while gaping their mouths waiting for their prey to swim right in.


It's a huge green iguana.

A tree lizard, I think. It was facing me but turned away and climbed onto the tree like that while I was about to take its picture. Vain beast =.= but somehow I like how this photo turned out.

Horseshoe crabs! This is the first time I've seen them irl. Why're they called crabs anyway? I thought they looked more like stingrays...

...Gah. My phone ran out of memory. I wanted to take a picture of the fluorescent scorpions :( at least I got Phaik and dad to take a picture of them. I'll post them up when I get them. They just look too awesome to not post it up here X3

Okay next, we went to the Blue Mansion. No pictures sorry :( they didn't allow us to take any.

It's an important heritage site. A huge mansion with mainly chinese architecture and as the name implies, its walls are usually a dark blue colour. The mansion is GORGEOUS. Every single thing outside and inside are crafted and decorated so intricately. I felt so guilty when I sat on a chair that was decorated with mother of pearls. It's like sitting on a Picasso painting. Well I don't really like Picasso's works but... you get my point.

It's built by some rich chinese man who played a significant role in many countries' economies long ago. The last of his mansions. The rest were destroyed.

The mansion's totally fengshui-ed. Basically almost every aspect like T-junctions, symmetry, heart of the building, sea infront, mountains at the back, sloping ground, angled to the road, etc are looked into. I can't believe someone so devoted to wealth and health like that actually existed.

We toured the mansion for about 1.5 hours.

Anyway, moving on...

I had a bubblebath. It's been years since I had one and couldn't resist DX
My parents were out for dinner at the nearby night hawker. I stayed behind to watch Ratatouille while having my dip. THAT is life.

A shop at some shopping centre. It was so orange I just had to take a picture of it. I did plan to have an orange christmas tree some time D:
And that teddybear was so big it's probably almost my height if it stood straight. Suzuki-san~! :D

=FOUR=

I returned to Singapore in the afternoon of the 2nd day of Anime Festival Asia (AFA), so I managed to go for the event highlights.

I didn't turn up in cosplay. Was too tired and unprepared =\

Most of my friends were cosplaying. We walked around, fooled around, met lots of people, browsed lots of booths...

There was an IFS booth! Oh my god! I didn't buy anything from them cause I have very limited budget :( I bought several Vocaloid pins though - Rin, Len and Gakupo, and a little KH2 poster. knightcat was there at a booth too! With several other DA artists like mandachan DX

There was an Odex booth too. They showcased lots of anime (Shakugan no Shana, Toradora!, Code Geass, etc.) I must admit the quality of their subs are improving, but the quality of their vids aren't.

There was a domo-kun booth XD Elle bought a domo-kun shirt, which costs like 30 bucks @_@

There was a performance by May'n~! (seiyuu of Ranka from Macross Frontier) It was lipsynching, but it was rather nice too. Her voice is really powerful ._.
I heard there was a performance by Aniki the day before, and that his performance was much better, but I didn't get to catch it :(

After the event was over me and Sawa went over to the IFS booth to stalk visit them. We met artgerm, kunkka, and the other fella D8
Sawa took their price list (with Pepper on it) just for the heck of it. I took a rejected IFS artbook cover just for the heck of it too. We got their autographs on them DDDD8 we took a picture with artgerm too. And shook hands with him. I'M NEVER GONNA WASH THIS HAND NO MORE.

Oh wait I already did. Darn.

If you don't know who the IFS people are, you should be ashamed!!

Kunkka (the name of the DotA hero) was named after Kunkka!!! DX

We went for dinner at the Suntec food court after that. And then go home, internet, and sleep. Usual stuff.

Many things have happened since then.

Went to Wild Wild Wet with Sawa, Broken, Rein, Karei, Setsuru, Xeths, Lockie, Tohru, and many more. It was Cutepetz's birthday. Of course Claude was there too ;) Had plenty of fun and epic moments. Came back with abrasions all over my feet. I had limb cramps the next day.

Been rushing EOY stuff too =\ Right now I'm left with her boxes, painting all the props, sewing her cloak and ripping up her shirt. Lal sure is troublesome...

I HAVE TWO DAYS LEFT. WHY AM I NOT PANICKING ENOUGH.

Latest manga: Switch

It's about some kid investigator named Kai Eto in the Greater Kanto Narcotics Control Division with a violent alter ego and lost memories. He and his partner Hal Kurabayashi are supposed to track down and stop the distribution of a dangerous new drug called Dragon Speed.

Lots of twists and turns and tragic and confused endings. Up to vol 5 now.

Still waiting for KHR, AG, Kuroshitsuji, DW, Mirai Nikki, Junjou, Soul Eater, Rustblaster and many more updates on OneManga and MangaFox.

Still waiting for more World Embryo, Mushishi, Saiyuki Reload, Vampire Knight, A Thousand Years of Snow and Switch to publish. Oh and Cosmode Japan and Cosmode USA too.

Anime? Still waiting for new eps to KHR, Kuroshitsuji, Yozakura Quartet, Junjou 2, Soul Eater, VK Guilty.

Latest movie? Vexille. It's a tragic story about androids and Japan in isolation. I recommend it =o
